Valentines Dates!

We didn't want to fight the crowds on Valentines day, so Rob took me out to dinner the day before, (he is genius) We enjoyed a romantic dinner for two Downtown Boise at PF Changs, I love the Honey Chicken and lettuce wraps there more than life, seriously I wanna marry them! They are sooo deli sh! We were too tired after walking around and dinner that we decided not to do the movies and that we would do them the day after Valentines and make it last even longer!
So this is the continuation of our Valentines Day extravaganza! It was the day after Valentines Day, I really wanted to see 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' and 'Shes just not that into you', so I figured Valentines day was the perfect day to make my Hubby go with me, and to my surprise he took me to both, I loved both movies, Rob on the other hand looked comatosed during both movies, I am so lucky he loves me so much, he sat through two of the biggest chick-flicks of all time just for me, ooh how sweet that was...He even bought me a huge popcorn and we loaded it up with butter, salt and a package of M&Ms, I love it that way, it is like eating chocolate covered popcorn mmm yummy! I Love the day of love! I got Rob a cool handle for our cabin front door, it is an antler thingy hes been wanting, and some super cool glow in the dark Heart boxers :) I made him model them for me this night! hehe He got me a new Camera, chocolates, balloons, and the cool heart decor thingy behind us in this picture! I LOVE Rob! I can't believe it has almost been 17 years we've been married, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! He is so patient and funny! I love everything about him! Yea for Hott Husbands on Valentines Day!

Boston says this is the day he learned to swim, he was really doing a great job floating on his back and swimming under water!

Malibu looved everything about the water, she was smiling the entire time!

Wedding dress...

When I went to pick out my wedding dress back in 1992 I knew exactly what I wanted, I had watched the guns and Roses video (at a friends house of course) and when I saw that mini in front and long in the back white dress, I knew I would someday be married in it! I bought the first dress I tried on because it had a shorter hem in front than in the back, I was so in the 'LOVE ZONE' I think at the time I really thought it was exactly like the guns and roses dress, and that it was just a little different to go through the temple in! Boy was I in La la land! SO I looked up this dress tonight to show my kids what my inspiration for my short dress was, it really is mind baffling that I was so content with everything and had my 'world painted pink glasses' on throughout my whole wedding planning!

I still think this dress is so cool!

The happiest day of my life....

Oh the joy of sweet wedded bliss, this was only hours after our wedding in the Provo Temple we were so happy! I really was so in the 'Love Zone' of being engaged, I really didn't care what my wedding was like, I mean Rob and I did contribute to the ideas of the wedding and stuff, but we were just so happy we didn't care about spending a lot of money or having our wedding reception in a super fancy location, I bought the first dress I tried on, told the floral shop to do what they though would be nice in our budget, and I would be happy with whatever and where ever, and it was Wonderful! Looking back now, I seriously laugh and say oh my gosh I really had my reception in the church gym with carpeted basketball lines on the floor! All of my flower were fake and forest green and burgundy, (when I asked for fuchsia pink) But seriously at the time I felt like it was the most beautiful reception ever! The 'Love Zone' is a wonderful thing!

I had a ton of friends and family as brides maids, I just told them all to wear green or pink or both! I actually still talk to all of these fun girls often even after almost 20 years since high school, L to R Kim Orr, Joanne Spafford, Me, and Gina Perkins!
So, I used to always pull funny faces in all of my pictures, it is so crazy that I found these photos today and I was cracking up so hard I though I should share them!

A little closer look, I think I am so talented that I can even make my little lips do that! Ha

It was funny because Rob and I just posed for this picture before the reception, we never even cut the cake, we were too in a hurry to get the heck out of there! SO funny, we heard later that Robs brother ended up cutting it for us after we left because people wanted a piece of cake! We left at 9:00 because that is what the invite said, so we split :)

Our first kiss...On the cheek.. No not really but that is what we were pretending in this photo! Ha ha ha.... Was I bored? I don't know, I just wanted to have pics I could laugh at! LOL

We were so happy to be married it was unreal how excited we both were!

Jumping off the fountain in front of the Provo Temple back in 1992! It really seems like just yesterday, we were so young and so ready to start our lives, I grew up in Provo Utah and as a kid we would take walks around the Provo Temple with my 8 brothers and sisters, and I would always dream of the day I would be married there, so when Rob and I first started dating I told him we had to get married in the Provo Temple and he was more than happy to make my wish come true, luckily he proposed to me two months after the day we met and he married me only two months after our engagement. A four month courtship was all we needed! I feel so blessed, and feel that it is so incredible to be married to my best friend now for almost 17 years, and 4 kids later!

This is such a funny picture, ROb is always being really silly and tries to make the kids laugh, so on this night they were trying to take a picture of us before we went out to dinner and he started immitating me...like how I lean back and try to take a picture, and end up looking dumb..

Sisiters and Brother Boss...

My Recipie if you want to try it out!

1 1/2 Cups of Shortening

2 Cups Sugar

4 eggs

2 t. Vanilla

Cream above ingreadient together

Then combine below ingredients and slowly add

4 to 5 Cups Flour

2 t. Baking Powder

1 t. Salt

Chill dough and then roll out and cut cute little hearts! Bake 400 6 to 8 min

My Favorite girlfriends here in Meridian Asia and Jackie! We got togethere for lunch at this great Thai restaurant called Saw Wa Dee we decided to bring the kids because they love the teddy bear rice, we talked and laughed and ate our yummy Pad Thai! It was a nice afternoon, it made me happy!

The kids love their cousins so much and on this day Jason and Vanessa were bringing Canada back to Idaho after having stayed with them in Alpine Utah for a week of fun! The kids love to climb up on this cool chair and fell like little people, it is so sweet how much love our kids have for eachother, Canada loves Abby like a sister, and Boston and Gracie are best freinds, Malibu and Lilly are so precious and fun to watch interact! I love that Jason and Vanessa bought a cabin up in Island Park too so we can spend our summers getting together and being family!
